From the Earth

    The Nature of Crystals

Every crystal is a record of deep time — minerals grown in darkness over millions of years, revealed and finished by hand. Discover how our specimens form, how we select them, and how to care for them.

    Geology

    Born of Deep Time

Agates band layer by layer in volcanic cavities; amethyst crystallises in geodes; selenite grows in silent gypsum beds. Each formation is a fingerprint of the exact conditions that made it — temperature, minerals, and millions of years of patience. No two specimens are alike, and none can ever be repeated.

    Curation

    Chosen by Hand

We select each specimen individually — for colour, formation, integrity and that hard-to-name presence that makes a stone hold a room. We work with trusted sources and lapidaries whose cutting and polishing honour the stone rather than disguise it.

    Care

    Living with Crystals

Most minerals ask very little: a soft cloth, a place away from harsh direct sunlight, and careful handling. Some, like selenite, are water-sensitive; others, like agate and jasper, are nearly indestructible. Every piece ships with simple care notes for its mineral.
